Reading from a view : JDBC multitable consumer

I'm running into validation errors on trying to specify a view in table_config if I specify a view name in table_name_pattern field.

Is there something else which needs to be configured. I was reading this https://streamsets.com/documentation/datacollector/latest/help/datacollector/UserGuide/Origins/MultiTableJDBCConsumer.html#concept_m43_zzm_dbb

It works fine when I specify a tabletable. The validation error on the UI is: JDBC_66 - No Tables matches the configuration in the origin.
