Streamsets 3.16 upgrade error

I upgraded streamsets from 3.13.0 to 3.16.0 and updated the config files per online doc. I am on RHEL so did the rpm package, rpm install for ALL, but systemctl start throws an error and stops the system 30-45 seconds post startup. Says the Hadoop gzipcodec is missing. I cant find where the option is to install this, to remove it, or block it from loading.

Anyone had this issue that can explain the fix?

Can you pl update your question and add the link to the "online doc" you used to upgrade from 3.13 to 3.16?

I resolved the issue. I found another post from a user awhile back. I had to do the following: - uninstall streamsets (saving my 3 configuration folders first) - delete the streamsets folders with content not deleted from the uninstall - install streamsets 3.16.0 - edit the config files to add my customizations and login options back in; ldap, extras folder, folder permission list, etc - start sdc

I am honestly disappointed that an RPM install on RHEL 7 completely blows out the whole installation and you have to do this. Where is the installation integrity of this to ensure the proper files install during the rpm update so its known good on start???
