Default Configuration deployed in AWS: connect failed

You may call me someone with no patients at all, but I expected a flawless work after clicking through AWS setup and launching the EC2 instance. The Security group is configured with 2 ports open, the firewall on my PC has also 18630 opened. But somehow "telnet aws-ip-address 22 "got connected perfectly, as the instance was apparently listening on this port at the same time "telnet aws-ip-address 18630 " - no listener on the other side.

Again, maybe I just didn't feel like reading too much documentation. But I couldn't find anywhere that I have to log on to Linux environment and configure the service additionally to get it up and running correctly. I just expected that I would be able to explore the UI without having to fix any other server_side technical problem

Yea, AFAIK, you shouldn't have to configure anything else just to get started. Can you specify how you deployed SDC (?) on EC2 -- manually or via AWS Marketplace?
