My team uses StreamSets Data Collector 3.x, and we were about to upgrade to 3.15.0, which seems to be the latest version; but one member of our team got an email from AWS saying that 3.15.0 wasn't going to be offered as of May 8, 2020 (in two days). So, I'm confused if this is just an AWS Marketplace issue or is there in fact a newer version that is about to be released?

The underlying question here as we plan for upgrades is: is there an SDC version release schedule? I'd hate to upgrade our SDC version and Cloudera manager configs and then have to re-do it a week later.

We have one "version" in the marketplace, which is composed of the SDC version and the "stuff we bundle with it." This email just says that we're publishing a new version.

This email was sent from AWS's automated systems because StreamSets is updating the SDC version that will be available. We are not discontinuing support for Data Collector 3.15. This announcement was triggered because we are updating the "Data Collector for AWS" bundle by updating the included libraries. You'll still get SDC 3.15, but with the added benefit of a new Delta Lake destination and updates to other existing connectors.

The current release schedule is for Data Collector's core code to be updated monthly, with releases planned for both mid-May and mid-June 2020.
