Whenever I stop and restart a pipeline that contains the HTTP Server origin, sometimes it will pop up this error message and stating that the address already in use.

Check and confirmed no other pipeline using the same port.

The current solution I have is to restart StreamSets Data Collector.

Is there any other solution except restarting SDC as it still contains other data pipeline that are actively running.

HTTP_SERVER_ORIG_01 - Port not available: Address already in use (Bind failed) : HTTP Listening Port

Sounds like a bug - see SDC-8078 created just today.

For what it's worth, I am currently using v3.8.0 and am experiencing the same issue.

This issue happens when pipeline takes time to terminate and sometimes that causes threads not terminating. This issue is resolved in 3.1 which we will release soon.
