I am trying to configure the KafkaClient by referencing the "Enabling SSL/TLS and Kerberos" section of the following documentation page:

https://streamsets.com/documentation/...

Specifically, the subsection on "Cloudera Manager installation with LDAP authentication". We have Cloudera Manager that is part of Cloudera Enterprise 5.15.1. We have StreamSets Data Collector 3.10.0.

Issue 1: ldap.login.file.allow.substitutions is not showing up as configuration item, so I can't enable it.

Issue 2: generated-ldap-login-append is not showing up as configuration item, so I can't add my KafkaClient entry there.

So, my question is: How do I add KafkaClient to the ldap-login.conf with Cloudera Manager 5.15.1? (Note: we'd prefer to just add the KafkaClient vs having to manage ldap-login.conf manually..... unless this cannot be accomplished)

Turned out our install parcel did not have an updated CSD file.

Therefore, the solution to this was:

1) Install the StreamSets custom service descriptor file (CSD), and then restart Cloudera Manager.

2) Use the following URL to download an updated CSD from the StreamSets website: https://streamsets.com/opensource.
