I am trying to parse an IANA specification Tab Delimited Format defined here This specification has no concept of a quote or an escape. And thus, no embedded delimiters (field nor row).

When creating a custom format, Streamsets forces you to enter a value for quote and escape.

You can use the NULL Character as your quote and escape.

In Data Format choose Delimited Delimiter Format Type - > Custom

Then for quote and escape character chose Other and enter \u0000 .

The box where you can enter the Other character allows you to enter the unicode codepoint for the character you want to use.

Is there anyway which delimiter character can i make \u0009 and escape character can i make as backslash and quote character as double quote. I get an issue like escape character and delimiter character cannot be the same "\"
