I've installed StreamSets on a Cloudera cluster under cdh9.1.

My cluster is in a isolated network so we just connect to internet vía proxy, which listen under port tcp-8080 and requires user and password.

We configure proxy settings on the cloudera manager, modifying:

  1. vault proxy addres
  2. vault proxy username
  3. vault proxy password
  4. vault proxy port

At the StreamSets configuration panel, we see that the changes has applied, but when we try to download external libraries, the node try to connect to internet directly with no proxy data.

What can we do to configure streamsets to connect to internet via proxy correctly?

You are seeing the Package Manager attempting to connect to archives.streamsets.com to get the package list. You can ignore this error. You need to download the JDBC drivers you need from the vendors' websites, then select 'External Libraries', on the left of the Package Manager, then the Install External Drivers button, near the top right:

After uploading JDBC drivers, you will need to restart SDC.
