I have one use case , where i am sending post request using access token. I checked on the http client properties, but does not found any suit authentication to use.

Should the access token been implemented in header? or i should use the authentication configuration provided by streamsets?

It depends on the specific API. If it's expecting the authentication token to be provided in a header, you can configure that in the HTTP origin. If it's expecting another authentication mechanism (ex: username/password for basic auth), then that can be configured in the origin using the Authentication Type field and subsequent options that appear depending on your selection.

You are right, putting in the token as header with content-type = 'application/json' make it works. Thanks
