I might have a fundamental misunderstanding about the whole reason for using StreamSets data collector, but I want to use it for manipulating and recording instrument data on our ship's LAN.

We've got a couple of hundred instruments all broadcasting Multicast UDP packets on various ports and VLANs, and I thought I might be able to use the UDP Origin for capturing, processing and logging these streams, but I can't see anywhere for entering the multicast IP address that I want to monitor, just the port number.

Is this possible using StreamSets Data Collector, or am I looking in the wrong place for an answer?

StreamSets Data Collector does not currently support multicast UDP - I just created SDC-9037 to track this.
