I am relatively new to streamsets and I have just encountered the following error which I do not know where to begin troubleshooting.

Pipeline Status: RUNNING_ERROR: com.google.common.util.concurrent.UncheckedExecutionException: java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "logged"

I have tried to capture this error by using the pipe error output to file and it seems to bypass. Also once streamsets encounters this error, it will stop the pipeline and tries to restart it. On numerous occasions, there is a timer attached along the lines of retrying to start pipe in XX seconds.

Can you (1) give an example of the input string 'logged', (2) export your pipeline to JSON, remove any passwords and post it (or a link to it) here, and (3) post the full stack exception from sdc.log.

as per answer below, I am at the moment unable to provide a sample of the input string as all the information is flowing in from kafka and the error message is just there when I click into the pipeline. I will see what I can do from the sdc.log end and provide a copy subsequently, thanks!

I have check through the pipeline on numerous occasion trying to locate the input string "logged" which I am unable to do so as I did not have any field known as "logged".

Also, the version which I am currently using seems a bit dated as it is 2.7.1.0.. Perhaps, I should upgrade to the latest and monitor from there onwards.

In the mean time I have attached a cutout of the error message which appears just below the "pipeline / pipename". image description
