If your source database is Oracle you can leverage the Oracle CDC client. Similar question to yours in ask stream sets is here. Stream sets Doc says that CDC on JDBC consumer can be done only with SQL server.

To process change capture data from Microsoft SQL Server, on the Change Data Capture tab, optionally configure the following properties to group rows by transaction

Q2 - Transaction ID Column Name

You have two options with JDBC, One is JDBC consumer origin and the other one is multitable consumer which you can use to replicate the RDBMS.

Here is a good and well-explained example if you are leaning towards the multitable consumer. For the JDBC consumer follow this doc.
